The German duo Jeroen Koolhaas and Dre Urhahn, best known as Haas & Hahan, went to brazil for the first time in 2005 to film a documentary for MTV. They decided to stay and start an non-profit organization called Firmeza Foundation with the mission to "bring outrageous works of art to unexpected places". The project in Santa Marta, Rio was finished earlier this year and spreads over 34 houses. The project brings employment to local residents and a different perspective on visual arts to the community.
